The Funeral March of a Cat

Did you ever watch the Alfred Hitchcock Presents show? Well my mom taught me how to read when I was 3 and I used to wonder about the theme song, the Funeral March of a Marionette when I would read it and hear the song...

Well, I had a funeral march for my oldest and dearest kitty this past Saturday--She had to be euthanized. What a heart-breaking experience!

She had no strength but was all heart--She conquered the beasts before she left; and at the vet's clinic, She used her will pumped by her heart to say goodbye to me--It was an amazing experience. I guess the song that has gotten me through all of this is Cher's Believe, of all songs!

I think I'm going to go to a support group to deal with all of the emotions.

If that weren't enough, who could have guessed that I would also get food poisoning Saturday, as well! Monday came and I was still feeling the side effects of grief and gross...

Cat Scan

I scan the room and can't believe
My cats are living cooperatively now--
The first time in two years--they are sharing their space.
They are each within 3 feet or less. Amazing.
I used to have three dream cats, but two died :(

I replaced those two dream cats with shelter cats--A 2-year nightmare with monstrous cats!!!
